A gun-wielding robber took an unknown sum of money from a man soon after he exited Bally’s Casino Chicago early Wednesday. 

The 44-year-old victim was getting into his parked car on East Ohio Street in Chicago at around 2:30 a.m. when the suspect drove up behind him, got out of his sedan, and brandished a gun while demanding the victim's money. 

The man gave money to the robber, who subsequently ran away. No gunfire occurred, and nobody was harmed. 

The casino issued a statement acknowledging the incident and is working with investigators. 

Local police are probably examining surveillance footage from the casino. 

Casino Swindlers Elude Imprisonment 

Two poker competitors at Live! Casino Pittsburgh recently received probation following charges of using marked cards. 

According to TribLive, Bahri Sahpolat, 47, from California, and Serdar Ozmen, 44, from Maryland, utilized the fraudulent cards while participating in Mississippi Stud poker at the casino last month. 

The participants earned over $12K during the matches, and their cheating was recorded by the casino's surveillance cameras. 

At the time of their arrest, they faced charges of theft, possession of stolen goods, criminal trespass, and use of a fraudulent device. $12K was confiscated from the two individuals during their arrests. 

The trespassing charge was eventually dismissed, and a judge accepted a plea deal that granted them a unique type of probation called accelerated rehabilitative disposition. 

The men were not required to plead guilty, and if they successfully finish the probation period, the charges will be removed from their criminal records. 

Judge Tim Krieger of the Westmoreland County Common Pleas Court instructed the men to pay the casino $1,047 and prohibited their return to the gaming establishment.

"Through sophisticated security measures, Live Casino officials were able to detect the illegal activity of the individuals,” casino spokesperson Tom Meinert told TribLive.

“We immediately contacted the Pennsylvania State Police and the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board and have been working with them throughout the duration of this investigation.”

Adult Reportedly Attempted to Bring Teens Into Casino 

Christal Mutua, 39, from Wilkes-Barre, Pa., reportedly devised a scheme to allow her minor child and another teenager access to the casino floor last week at Mohegan Pennsylvania. 

Keyon Kyalo Mutua, 19, and a 17-year-old girl whose name hasn't been released, tried to access the gaming area around 5 a.m. CitizensVoice.com reported on Wednesday. According to the police, the duo utilized another person's identification at the entry. 

The duo was halted by security guards at the entrance. According to authorities, Mutua fled the scene while the girl went to a parking lot. 

The Pennsylvania Bureau of Gaming Enforcement stated that Mutua's mother was involved in the plan. Officials intend to file charges against her. 

The age limit to access the casino is 21 years.
